IN 2. GENERATION
Founded in 1957 by Hans-Benno Niehaus. In 1990 the generation change follows and son Ralf Niehaus takes over.

Germany’s location in the center of Europe gives us access to the entire market of the European Union as well as the markets of Central and Eastern Europe. In line with our customers’ wishes, we are thus largely independent and can guarantee sustainable procurement and distribution logistics. Jobs and apprenticeships as well as investments and taxes remain in our own country. In this way, we are not only strengthening Germany’s future, but also protecting our environment.
Where people act and create, they leave their ecological footprint and consume resources. But they are finite! Therefore, “eco” is not a trend at HAN, but a long-proven standard. KARMA means responsibility towards our environment and our fellow human beings and was already anchored in our corporate culture many years ago as an ecological and social code of conduct. Conscientious responsibility is therefore in our DNA as an owner-managed company producing in Germany – for a good KARMA yesterday, today and in the future.
The HAN brand is inextricably linked with a high standard of design. In addition, it stands for order, reliability and modernity. To live up to this claim, the company works with internationally successful designers and follows its sure sense for trends and innovations. For many years, HAN products have repeatedly been awarded internationally recognized design prizes.

For years, the company has repeatedly invested in the expansion and modernization of its machinery. But the modern machines represent only a part of our production. Without the experience of our long-serving and experienced employees, some of whom still work by hand to ensure the quality of individual products, the results would only be half as good. In addition, digital systems monitor and control the production processes. This is not only about building capacity, optimizing quality and processes and thus ensuring reliability for our customers, but also about reducing CO2 emissions and protecting our environment. Work is done in state-of-the-art offices equipped with contemporary digital communications technology suitable for the requirements of agile and mobile working.
