Exacompta SAS Establishes HAN Desktop GmbH and Leads the HAN Brand into the Future

Exacompta SAS, Paris – part of the Exacompta Clairefontaine Group, Europe’s market leader in the PBS sector – acquires the assets of the insolvent HAN GmbH & Co. KG, Herford, through an asset deal, effective September 1, 2025.

To integrate these assets—including the company headquarters in Herford, machinery and equipment, raw and finished goods inventories, as well as the brand rights—Exacompta SAS has founded HAN Desktop GmbH at Daimlerstraße 2 in Herford as a 100% subsidiary.

From September 1, 2025, this newly established company will serve as the business partner and supplier for the well-known and successful HAN brand ranges, but it is not the legal successor of the insolvent HAN GmbH & Co. KG.

“With HAN Desktop GmbH, we aim to preserve and further develop the strength and potential of the HAN brand,” explains the management of HAN Desktop GmbH.
